A network marketing blog can be used to attract new network marketing prospects. If you find it difficult to build a website because of the technical skills, a blog is a great way to go. Most blogs are very simple to setup and require very little technical skills. They can also look very professional and well done that will make any network marketer proud.
When new posts are created, they show up on the homepage. Since there is a lot of activity on the homepage of the blog, the search engines love to rank the pages high. This means free traffic from google, yahoo, msn, or the other search engines.
Of course, before people can find your blog, you have to make sure you know the keywords they are searching for. There are many programs out there that can be used to find these keywords. Some of them are free but the information they provide are limited. The best ones show you the demand (how many searches for the keyword) and the supply (how many websites show for the keyword).
If things are done right and good keywords are used, the blog can see a lot of visitors quickly. It can grow much faster than most websites which is why I prefer the stability of a website with an addition of a blog.
Websites will always be around but blogs may not.
One of my favorite free blog companies is blogger. They allow monetization (ways to make money) and give a lot of freedom on what can be done with the blog. The free wordpress blogs do not allow monetization even though their templates are beautiful and more desiring.
The best option is to pay for hosting and have complete control of the blog. The cost are minimal and easily affordable.
For a network marketing blog to succeed with visitors, it needs to provide quality content and training. Network marketers are looking for help to build their business and those who are a resource and provide good training information are the ones who succeed.
