If you have decided you are having a family and friend gathering for Easter, you are going to need some really good decorations. In fact. even if you are not having company over for a dinner get together, you may still want to have festive decor for the holiday. Most people only go all out with decorations for Halloween and Christmas and seem to forget that Easter is a holiday too. Why not celebrate with some appropriate holiday decor as if it were Christmas.

You can find so many appropriate decorations online and in the stores. They tend to come in mostly pastel like colors with eggs, bunnies and flowers to decorate them. Easter marks the beginning of spring in northern hemisphere countries like Canada, USA and UK, so you will want to have ornaments and decorations that represent the coming of spring and new life, as well as the usual eggs and bunnies. Spring is a time for getting rid of the old and bringing in the new; it is the natural order of things that with spring comes new life of animals and plants. So freshness and renewal are essential parts of the Easter decorating scene.

My first suggestion of a decoration is an Easter tree. When I was a kid we had this little pastel colored tree that had glass eggs for ornaments. Now there are so many varieties of Easter trees it may be hard to choose just one, the good news is that you do not have to choose just one. Most trees come in sizes ranging from around 14 inches to 36 inches. Because of their small size you will need small ornaments to decorate with.

My second suggestion for Easter decorations are banners, and garlands or anything decorative; within the theme of course,. This can also be a great opportunity for you and the kids to show how crafty you are and make the decorations yourself. If you would rather buy the banners and garland that is fine. They come in many varieties. Some banners string across and say “Happy Easter” in pastel lettering with decorations of flowers and eggs. Some hang from the ceiling and also shout out the Happy Easter message. Garlands look good with eggs or flowers hanging down every few inches.

Another suggestion is balloons and centerpieces. You can choose a centerpiece of fresh flowers such as daisies and tulips in pastel colors or you can buy a ready made fake floral centerpiece. Whatever you choose as a centerpiece you can make it look amazing on your table. For balloons, you can choose from many different colors, but if you have chosen a pastel color theme, it is best to stick to it for best effect. You could also get the Mylar film balloons that have Happy Easter printed on the front and back and decorated with an Easter theme.

These are just a few of my top suggestions for decorating for the holiday, but you can also go for individual and unusual Easter decorations just to be different. Feel free to mix and match these ideas and have fun when decorating for this spring holiday. There are so many more decorations out there than are mentioned above. Good luck with your decorating. With the movie DVD being released soon and with all of us dazzled fans waiting for news about New Moon…the second book in the Saga and the next movie to be made, this is going to be a very popular party theme. The Saga was written by Stephanie Meyer and it has four books in it. The third book is Eclipse and the fourth…and final book is Breaking Dawn. The story covers a couple years in the lives of Edward Cullen…a Vampire, and Bella Swan…his human soul mate. Not only is this Vampire romance Saga a really good read, it gives us lots of reasons to have a Twilight Party!

How Good a Story is It?

I’ve been in a Twilight Fog since I read the books. I picked the first one up and a week later I put the final novel down, still wishing there were more to read! I think about Edward and Bella most of the time, and every day I have a new favorite character because they are all so likeable! Yes, even Rosalie! It takes awhile, but fans even warm up to Rosalie once they hear her story.

Yes, there are so many parties you can use a Twilight party ideas with. The first one that comes to mind is a Movie Party. Since the movie is being released on DVD in March you can be the first one to have a party. Just get some red soda and put some red butter on your popcorn…and maybe drizzle some melted chocolate on it too..and you are set. Movie parties don’t require too much prep since the theme is the movie. You can order pizza, serve some drinks and a dessert if you like, it’s an easy party to host.

Halloween Parties are Perfect for Twilight Party Ideas…with the whole Vampire thing going on. Why not have a Vampire theme Halloween Bash or A Couples Costume Party? Invite your friends to come dressed as any kind of Vampire or as a famous Vampire Couple. Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett, Carlisle and Esme, and of course, Edward and Bella. But there are more couple ideas to think about. The Volturi Vamps from Italy are great for your gory minded friends, you know, the ones who like human blood sucking versions of Vampires, rather than the mild, animal blood drinking ones.

The Volturi couples costumes can use Jane and Alec, Felix and Demetri, Heidi and Aro, or Marcus and Caius as inspirations. Or the Volturi would make a great group costume idea and so would The Cullen Clan. How about going as the human residents of Forks? The werewolves are another couples costume idea. Twinkle lights have to be part of the decorations or Alice will be so disappointed! Alice, the Cullen Family party planner, just loves to use twinkle lights at all her parties.

Birthdays are Another Great Reason to Use Twilight Party Ideas.

You know your tween or teenager, the one that has read the entire Saga, will just love this party theme and so will all their friends. You can even plan 16th birthday parties around Twilight. There are some very different color schemes you can use. Decorations can use the black and red book covers, or go light with lots of flowers and twinkle lights, like Bella and Edward’s wedding reception. Vampires used to be dark and evil, but after reading about the Cullen’s you can go with light and bright colors too.

Whatever party theme you use make sure to include some fun games when you’re planning your party. Movie parties can always fit in a trivia contest. Make your questions about the movie and the characters. Birthday and Halloween parties can use trivia too…but there’s other games you can include like: Twilight Charades, Outburst, A Vampire Dress Up Relay Race, and of course with Halloween, the Costume Contest! But if you provide food that mom can’t eat, everyone will feel bad, so start your planning after co-ordinating with mum. Gestational diabetes is a common problem during pregnancy and many women face the rigors of establishing and maintaining very strict diet requirements during those months.

Select a Date – Try to have the party the week before the person’s birthday so he or she won’t suspect the party is for them. The key to a good surprise party is keeping it a secret. By hosting the party in your own home, your guest of honor will have no reason to think you’re throwing a party in their honor. You may even want to consider not telling any of the other party guests that it’s going to be a surprise party, so you don’t have to worry about anyone spilling the beans.

On the day of the party, call your guests to fill them in on the fact that it’s a surprise party. Another quick way to spruce up your home is to place a few scented candles on the coffee table and in the bathroom along with one or two monochromatic flower arrangements on the buffet table.

Your first step is to plan out all of the big decisions about your party such as the location, date and time, and a the all important guest list. When you own a business you need to have a web presence. It gives you credibility. It’s your online brochure. You can even get business directly from your website. At this point most of us know that we have to have a website. Yet, I receive business cards weekly from people that have a website address listed on their business card AND still have their local provider email or free email account. There are several good reasons to have an email account from your domain:

1. Your professional email can clarify who you are and your business.

2. It gives people a domain to look at for more information about you even if you haven’t given them the web address.

3. Your professional email builds your reputation and legitimacy. When an email comes in from a generic free email provider it is unclear if your business is genuine.

4. Your email address advertises your website. When you see my email address, you know that I also have a website at that address. Even if you don’t know me you can check my website and choose to do business with me as a result.

5. Credibility = trustworthiness; integrity; sincerity; reliability. Aren’t these the types of qualities that your company represents? That free email could be dwindling each of these qualities in the eyes of the beholder.

Building a simple, professional web page is achievable with site builder tools, templates and easy to use software programs. Setting up your professional email address is a simple 1, 2, 3 process. First, buy a domain if you don’t already have one. Second, set up a hosting account. Third, set up your new email account with your domain.

Most hosting companies offer a web mail version where you can check your email online or you can set up your email program such as Outlook to receive the email.

Remember, to always add a signature to your emails that includes your contact information, another credibility feature of email. It’s something that people look at to again, determine if the email is legitimate or not. When a business owner is emailing me and wanting me to take some type of action in response to their email, if there is no indication of who they are and their contact info, then my action is “delete”.

Traditionally, bridal showers were all-female affairs, which were held to help a young bride set up her household. It was popular to have themes for the shower, such as a kitchen theme where all of the gifts should help stock her kitchen. In fact, if you want the groom and male guests to agree to attend, present it as a regular party with gifts, instead of giving it a cutesy name like a “Jack-and-Jill” shower. Gifts for this type of wedding shower are often for the bar.

It is a great deal of fun to be an engaged woman being fêted and showered with gifts. Do remember to be appreciative about being the center of all this wonderful attention. You should, of course, send thank you notes for each gift received (have someone with good handwriting keep a list as the presents are opened). It is also customary to thank your hostess with a special gift shortly after the shower. It need not be expensive, only heartfelt. That gift would be in addition to the bridesmaid gifts that you will give your attendants closer to the wedding. (Bridesmaid gifts are to show a more general gratitude for your attendants. A post-shower hostess gift is a little something extra.) After all, everyone loves a gracious bride!
